    Hi You all.
Haven't been updating much since my "welcome" message. Partly because I haven't had that much time to work on it. Been doing some rust repairs and approaching the end of it. I still think I have a good project to start with but had little bit more rust to fix than anticipated before the windows came out.... but as far as I understand the rust on my wagon is standard equipment on these. So far replacing lower window channel front window and lower quarter window channels both side.
The front window I welded in an AMD replacement panel which was a really good fit. Probably amomng the best pieces I have welded in.

The quarter windows I had to make replacement panels myself, but they were quite easy to make.

Floor panels were pretty much OK, just a couple of small holes.

The problem I have left now to fix the drip rails above the quarter windows. The bottom of the left side is pretty much gone. Any one out there who has fixed a similar issue? I have seen some reproduction drip rails for impalas, novas and camaros but the pictures at both Dynacorn or AMD doesn't really tell how they look like and thereby impossible to say if they can be modified to fit.

Yours is the same body style as my 66 Malibu Wagon. They seem to rust around the rear windows. I welded some new channel in mine while doing the modifications for my 2 door conversion. http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29015&highlight=rmay
I plan to install the glass with the newer window adhesives that will hopefully make a better seal. Should prevent any future rust, at least I figure in my lifetime.
Good luck and have fun with your build.
