Purchased an awesome 1985 Chevy Caprice wagon with the third seat a year and a half ago and have been loving it ever since! I saw it and knew it was the one (with a few minor tweaks that is!) Since that purchase I have given it a kick-ass neon green paint job and have lovingly driven it down the highways and byways of rural North Carolina. As a woman I love the envious glances I get as I tootle down the road. Enough said! I'll post some pics so you can feel the love.
Parting With My 85 Chevy Caprice is so hard! Like some of the worlds most infamous love affairs: All good things must come to an end. I'll never forget polishing its unique Beauty Rings, nostalgic comments of, 'Wow--we had one of those when I was growing up!' and filling this baby up with gas and cruising down the highway with the wagon window in the rear down. It was fun while it lasted...
Six minutes after joining you are dumping the love of your life? Great looking wagon and I love the color. Like other love affairs it didn't really last long.
Yes, I unfortunately must sell my car. I hate to see it go but when the decision is gas or go out with the girls it's pretty clear I need to change my priorities!
Hopefully the 4th Owner Will Baby it Like Me! The person that previously owned this car had four wagons he lovingly cared for. I bought it for a song and a dance! The I painted it and it waas reborn. I only hope the next owner cares for it like I did.
Welcome. With that paint job I think you're mistaking shocked looks for envious glances from the people as you tootle down the road.
I wanted to sell my station wagon so I could go out with the girls. My wife wouldn't let me! On the other hand. Get the girls to fill up the tank and go cruising together.
