$4.43 a gallon here, in a country were the minimum wage for people who work a government regulated job is 300php ($6.85) a day. Ain't that some sh*t? Another reason I love my 138mpg bike and I am in no hurry to own a car.
In Utard gas is $2.95 a gallon. It's been going down for a month...I'm sure it won't last. Bah humbug!
There was some power outage at a refinery somewhere , Richmond had a refinery fire that stopped production and California requires a corn addictive as a polution control. Their explainations dont matter. Chevron has a fire, so they up their cost to you the consumer, to compete Shell and Union 76 also raise their prices. Cost me 120 dollars to top off yesterday. Its nuts out here, gas rose 80 cents in one day. Hope you people in the mid west or east coast dont think your gonna escape this, It will come your way soon enough.

Yes, F27. And when it goes back down everyone will be relieved. EXCEPT!......It won't go back down to where it was! They use these crazy price jumps to confuse the public and the price rarely, if ever, goes back to where it was originally.
Yup, Raise the price by $1.00 and the people are outraged. Drop the price back down by $0.50 and people rejoice that the price went down.

well here in BRITISH COLUMBIA,gas is 1.43 per liter x 4= 5.72 appr. per gal. and I think we pay the most in Canada because we pay in metro vancouver to subsidize the public transit ,we have a carbon tax that is going to change the world, we have a gas tax that pays for our roads and bridges, but when they build new bridges we pay the road tax to build it then we pay a toll on top of the tax, and then when you get your toll charges you pay an extra 12 % tax on your toll charges on top of every other tax you have already paid. what gets me the most is we pay for public transit and I never ride it. Like a lot of people I m moving out of the big city tax zone to the Okanagan Lake region the land of wine, beer, milk and honey. Its that or LPG for everyone 77.ยข PER LITER.Or I m going to buy one of those electric skooters,how do they get away with that riding on the road with cars and no insurance
