Not Another Newbie

Hi everyone.

I'm RJ. I live in southwestern Ohio. Close to Dayon. I guess I like the area cause I've been here all my life.

A little bit about me.
I'm a car nut. More like car psycho.
I've been into Classic Chevies (especially the 1957 Chevy) since 1970 when I was 12. Got my very first car in july, 1972 and I still own this very car today.
Since that time I've owned 9 '57s total and still own 6 of them right now.
I try to do as much to my car(s) as possible. Mainly cause I've paid someone to work on my car before and all they did was take my money and screw me over.

A fellow Chevy Talk member steered me to this web site. One of my '57s is a 150 Handyman 2-door Wagon and another is a windowed Sedan Delivery rumored to be 1 or 92 built in 1957 by the Fleet And Special Order Dept of Chevy. My windowed Delivery is number 57 of the 92 built. It was pulled from a field in southern IN near the OH river by a guy who said it was his first car sometime around 1975 or so. I've owned it since Oct, 1981.

I have to admire anyone who can manage to keep their own, personal Fleet running. Just owning a Fleet is enough. Let alone keeping them all in running shape.

PS. Oh, and besides the '57s I also own 2 Monte Carlos. An '86 LS & '06 LTZ. On top of that (yes there's more) my g/f also owns 2 Montes. and '81 SC & her recent purchase '03 SS Pace car.
