    1976 Cosworth Vega 2.0 fuel injected 4 speed dual overhead cam. All original with new injectors and fuel pump, etc. Original dealer paperwork. Minor body work and paint last summer. Call for test drive 259-3254.cosworth# 2544

    Always thought that the Vega could have been one of their best cars had they not had that bit of unpleasantness about the engine.

    I agree, the Vega had some nice lines. Especially the Kammback!

    At the Carlisle All GM show last summer, these Cosworth Vegas outnumbered every other car with the possible exception of 69 Camaros. I only took a picture of one of them (figured they all look the same anyway).

    I like the looks of the body (minus the front end grill area thingy)

    But every time aluminum and engine are mentioned together my dad and co-worker moan and complain about the Vegas.

    It seems to me the Regular and Cosworth engines were 2.4. If that car has no rust and the fuel computer is good that's a darn good price.

    Although they are in the 'collector car' category, I'm a bit surprised the Cosworth Vegas are not bringing much in the way of value when they sell...I mean this one is only going for $2,750.......
    That's about what it would have sold for new, give or take.....
