As some of you may have noticed in "the welcome wagon" thread, I am totally new to wagons, and not too familiar with Chevrolets at all. Nevertheless I am about to buy a 73' Kingswood Estate from the Netherlands or may look for a possibility to import a beauty like this from the US (I am located in Germany). I have posted a link of that particular car I have in mind in my introduction-thread but can post it here again, if needed. I would appreciate any comment on that particular car or an advice on what to consider with this line from all these experts arround here. I hope I have expressed my request at least intelligible, english is not my native language :sorry:
    Greetings from Germany

I am not sure about the kingswood but I am currently working on a 1971 Chevrolet townsman and it is very hard to find parts for, that would be my advise if it needs work you can drive yourself crazy trying to get parts

This wagon has been seen here before... I think it was the one that was originally in Georgia USA? One of the members here had mentioned once about buying it. It is a beauty. Reliable cars, easy to service. Just check for rust underneath, spare tire area, etc and you should be fine.

Btw, it is actually a '73 Caprice Estate. Essentially the same car, but Chevy stopped using the "Kingswood" name in '72. :)

    Good luck!
