Welcome again. Now I am confused about this one. It looks like a SUV and it looks like a shortened wagon. Many of the new so called station wagons look very much like this one. I like it but don't know what to call it.

Nice Xtreme! Have owned two S-10's in the past and really loved them. I like that you kept it basically stock, with the exception of the cowl hood, which looks great!

Welcome and hope you stick around!

SUV is what they call them now but a wagon is a wagon, the rear glass opens up the tail gate opens down it's a two wheel drive and a two door, just like a '55, 56, 57 Chevy Nomad Station Wagon or Handy man wagon. The Plymouth Suburban Station Wagon also has is a two door where the tale gate opens down and the rear glass opens up. Plus the '56 Ford Parklane....

:tiphat:.............. how about a little more info an that cool falcon your SUV is towing? Tedy is right. I was gonna mention the nice looking Falcon, which is not a wagon, but got involved writing about the Xtreme, which is not a wagon. But it's still more wagon than many SUV's and those miniwhatchamacallit's.:rofl2:
LODI Ain't ya glad you joined? We're picking on you already.

The rule of thumb about "Station Wagons" on this forum is that they have to be long roof designs that also provide a "Coupe" and or "Convertible" using the same front sheet metal in the line up. The Chevrolet Blazer is and was designed as a stand alone vehicle.

Sociologically speaking you are correct in that the demographic of the 50's who might have purchased a station wagon, now buy SUV's. But we here on this forum seem to have come to an agreement a few years ago using the Coupe/Wagon guideline to determine what is and what is not a "wagon", and that seems to work for us.

    Respectfully speaking...

Respectfully speaking I agree. But many new vehicles are now coming out looking like an SUV or sedan yet called a station wagon.
Today many do not like the words STATION WAGON and have forgotten what a station is. And some like our daughter call her SUV a TRUCK.

NO!!, it's your daily ride and that's OK:thumbs2::thumbs2::thumbs2:..........Several other members don't have wagons ( and yet we give them the gears and visa-versa;)) and no offence is indented.

    But it's not a wagon!:D(y)
