Yeah i picked up this lil guy and been happy every since... plan on moddin it up a biit... On with the picsssss And you thought it was a wagon
I love those things, I am a 32y/o fat guy who still acts like a kid and I love runnin over small dogs and chaseing cats with mine. I have an old Tyco Turbo Hopper with a retro engine in it that is fast as hell on the flats. The problem is it is jerry rigged to the point of no return and the 9.6v batt pack only lasts about 30 min of hard runnin. I terrorize the neighbors three Min Pins, they dig up the ole ladys flowers. Me I dont mind the dogs but I do mind the wifes nagging. So they get chased offt.
My rock crawler pictured above has 2 380 70t motors an 1500m battery. i plan on gettin a 3600m batt and upgraded servos an set of softer tires (rover whites)
You guys are baaad! Now our 'over-the-shoulder-wives' will ride us crazy about our toys! I was typing a post here the other day, and my wife (practicing her reading from the other side of the room), was mumbling what I was typing, and laughed her a$$ off. Intimidating or what?! I didn't know she has eagle's eyes.
I love this lil thing its awesome.... Wonder if theyre any other rc owners on here besides me an big ugly
On man Phantom, you are in for a world of fun and empty pockets. I have 19 RC's right now. I did the crawler thing for awhile, now Im into scale trail trucks. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwRpB1lGUXE
Nice!!!! Im building a scale style body for my rs10 to give it that real look. im goin to buy a cliff climber also. Ur stuff is awesome.
Thanks bro. I have 2 cliff climbers myself. Its simple yet works good. I am going to add BaneBot 390 motors, they are dirt cheap($5 each) and improve the Clod Stall. Clodstall is what you get when the truck starts to climb and the rear axle motor about stalls out and the front does 80+% of the work. This is one that I used a Clod Buster chassis and body to make a trail truck out of. Then once I upgraded it I added LED Lights IMEX Rubicon tires Duratrax Overlander wheels 6.0v RX battery pack for the LEDs Made filler panels for the holes in the side of the chassis Lowered the body 1/2 inch and raised the susp 1/2 inch for a lower body stance, but more ground clearance. Added the Blank Chevy Grille some cool buddy of mine gave me.*
Yes sir, if you are referring to rccrawlers.com, I sure am, same name. I also run my own RC forum, called S.T.A.R.R. http://starr.smfforfree.com/index.php
