my long Cancer surgery Sep first

    Rural Missouri 30 mi.S of KC
    Tuesday at 5:30AM I have to be at KU hospital in Kansas City.
    5 surgeons will work on me.
    My right eye has to go and then cancer that has pushed the eye out of my head and taken up lots of space in my head gets removed along with a good sized piece of my skull.
    Then the cancer that has invaded my brain sack and latched onto my brain gets removed and the brain sack gets closed back up.
    Then titanium mesh will be used to replace the missing piece of skull.
    Skin from my wrist will be used to replace the skin removed from my head and then skin from my thigh will patch the wrist.
    Last but not least the lymphnode channel on the right side of my neck will be removed.
    my hospital stay will be about a week.

    will a little luck you will hear from me after the surgery.

    It amazes me that it is possible for doctors to perform these incredible surgeries. You must have had a lot of discomfort while waiting for this day to come, I'm sure you will feel so much better afterwards. Sorry to hear you are losing an eye. My brother lost his sight in one eye a few years back after a motorcycle accident. It took a bit for him to adapt but he does most of everything that he did before, working, driving, etc.
    I wish for your surgeons to have steady hands and a good nights sleep. It sounds like you are in great hands. Try and rest this evening, we'll be here waiting to hear from you. :)
