is anyone else having trouble with the forum since the new 2010 Mustang Banner appeared? I cant even browse the forum, because it locks up my whole computer while it loads.

even other applications that i could be using while i wait. it took me about 5 mins to get this done.

    YES!

I thought it was just me!

Every time I open a page and that banner is running mah Com-puter goes "Nnnnnnnnn-GGgggrrrrG!"

I love Mustangs but am beginning to curse this dam ad!

None of the other ads have this affect.

Yeah...what Mustang ad? If you are having that freeze/lag problem you have other problems, too, that you are unaware of. My puter used to do that on ANY animated banners until Steve fixed me up by showing me how to clean junk out of my puter. Then he set me up with great blockers and cleaners. Your puter likely has adware and trojans sitting in there. JMHO

It's only the Mustang ad. Ford edge, Ford Taurus, Ford Focus, etc, etc, etc....
    All fine.
Nissan ad for that weird electric car? fine. They are all animated at some point with stuff flying in or moving and what-not. Puter works fine.

Soon as that Mustang one comes up my puter goes into super lock down, make lots of noise, freeze everything for a minute, can't switch to other open browser retardedness. Then, once the ad is loaded, it's fine again.

Something to do with how that specific banner is loading on the forum.

I’m not saying my puter doesn’t have crap on it, and I’m no techno wizard, but I keep it purty dern clean. Update, purge, what-have you.

Geez Orth, I don't see any of them - and I'm not complaining....they'd drive me crazy. I get enough of that crap everywhere else I go for recreation.

The ads certainly shouldn't cause computer stoppage but they are what pays the bills I think.

If you see the ad again, right click on it, copy the link and send me a PM.
