    I have to admit that I am pretty apathetic about whether the Mercury brand stays or goes. Much like a Dodge and a Plymouth in its final days there is very little to differentiate a Mercury from a Ford other than a badge.

    I'll bet the Mercury classics owners saw a small spike in their rides' values.
