    Hey all,

Stumbled upon this forum, seems like the place to be to get a wagon.

    I'll be lurking ;)

I'm looking too, although I've got to sell a vehicle first. All I've got to say is be ready with all the resources you need, so you can jump on it when you see it.
    What area are you in?

"Classic GM" is very broad. What are your choices?

Pontiac a first choice. Maybe the right Oldsmobile. Been a Pontiac guy all my life and know that that best.

Guess saying classic is pretty broad, but since I havent seen much of anything out there just generalized.

Specifically, '65 - '72 would be nice. MEchanical work needed OK, but looking to stay away from body/paint work since I have no experience there.

Thank you sir! Ive been looking for a few months now, came across a few, but either "geographically undesirable" (like a few of my h/s girlfriends ;) high dollar restorations, or in need of too much in the body/paint dept.

Looking for a nice driver that I can work on as I use it. Already did a restore years ago, no patience for that now.

I did speak with the owner of the '72 Olds today. A bit far to get a set of eyes on but not writing anything off.

    Ah a ex-Monmouth county-ite ;)

My "wagon wanting" has now expanded to full size Pontiacs also. Big difference but Im just looking for something different. Probably why of all my friends in h/s I had a Pontiac when they all had Chevys.

You know how it goes...you always find something when you're not really looking. My search has ended after getting this piece of Pontiac history this weekend from a member here. It's very cooool, gonna enjoy it.

Very cool, Knagy389. And it should have a 389 under the hood, right?

Glad you found your Pontiac. I should have mine within a couple of weeks.

P.S. If you decide to change out those Rally II wheels, look me up. I'll be looking for some. Personally though, I think they look great on that '63.
