late model wagon guys....

I went to one show where they tried to direct me to the parking lot. When I said I was showing the car they said "oh your showing that?".

Snooty #$@! she was. She dives a 65 buick.

 

I've never been denied entry with the Batwagon, But I have gone to Mopar Shows thet were run and dominated by Cuda and Charger type folks that put my Beast in a "C" Body Modified class and then never judged the class. I'm not a trophy hunter BUT THAT'S DOWN RITE RUDE We all know them "E" Body's 'n "B" Body's iz neat but kinda like BELLY BUTTONS! EVERY BODY GOTZ ONE CUZ THE COOKIE CUTTER NEVER RAN OUT AH DOUGH

 

Really they are concious of the fact that the wagons attract more attention than the 'Cudas and Chargers. At the Ford shows the crowds are around the big LTDs, Fairlanes, Pintos and Falcons. I'm sure it annoys the Mustang folks.

 

WELL SAID SPS Back in '70 I ordered a new '71 Mach 1 that came in with a Cougar steering wheel on it and the dealer refused to deliver it 'til thay could get a 'Stang wheel from the factory and replace it. In retrospect I wish I'd ordered ah Cougar and kept the wheel. GAWD I love those sequential tail lites Too bad the Blue Oval Boyz never figured out how to put 'um on ah Long Roof
