been that way my whole life.
one of my 74 lesabre convertibles had zero heat and no back window for three years. drove it everyday. nobody asked for a ride in the winter time.

if it was snowing, when i got out of the car you could see exactly where i had been sitting because of the snow pattern.

Stop your whinnin. Going down to 20 tonight and tomorrow nite with windchills yet lower. This is NW Florida. Not the Panhandle.....NW Florida. Geeeezzz.:49:
It ain't supposed to be this cold....... :banghead3:
It was 65 this morning and dropped all day. Danged northerners are blowing it south. On the other hand in central illinois our son the mail man, and his wife, the female mail postmaster were snowed in! The mail didn't go thru! And they mumbled something about -14 below with windchills.
Even our son here got sent home from work cause it was too cold.
As for me and my shorts and tee shirt....I'm wearing them under my sweatpants and flannel shirt.... and that's inside. :coffee::coffee:More coffee!

Whaaaaaa ! Actually I'm warm and happy with a full tummy. Not leaving the house until it gets back up above 60 degrees or better. Got a wife who feeds me and tucks me in bed at night. Almost as lucky as Tedy's doggies.

Handy Andy we do adapt and we do change. I was born and sort of raised in central Illinois. I mostly worked in and outside year around except when i drove a truck. Even then they were short trips and I was outside a lot. I rarely wore more than a Tee shirt and jeans. 19 years in Florida and anything under 65 gives me the chills.

It's 12 degrees here and they say before morning we will see 7 degrees.

The weather channel says with the wind chill it's -4 .

This is already a record low here in the Sunny South,,I HATE WINTER! HRP

They are still saying 19 degrees tonite and we are 100 miles south of Georgia. But at least here it will be in the 60's-70's in a few days.
And I never knew Florida had wind chils...!
In fact in Illinois when we were young no one mentioned wind chill or even how cold it usually was. We just knew it was colder than a well diggers---- well!

We hit -10 here yesterday, but today we're going to warm up to 30! Jake and Elwood are not fans of -10. I ask them if they want to go outside and they lay down on the floor and turn their heads away from me - ok, I get it - you want to stay in!
