Was suggested that I join up here a while back from someone over at the Garage Journal Forum. So here I am. I am currently working on a 1960 Stude Wagon. It has been in the family since the late 60's/early 70's. It was won in a poker game. Progress can be seen at http://www.thisoldstude.blogspot.com
Hey CI, great story on your classic Stude. You had to have been so psyched when the dent in the roof just popped out with a little persuasion. Good for you. Looks like it's in much better hands now that it's in your's! Good luck and welcome.
NuFinish is amazing stuff. I used it on my 67 Lesabre and the paint came back to life! It was worse off than the Stude. It was a very awesome moment. I was almost positive that a crease or indentation would have been left. holy crap no one has ever put that together That is precisely where I got it from. Fins left!
to the wagon train, CI. Just read your blog and really enjoyed it. I hope you continue to add to it and give us updates.
Thanks! I plan to update as often as possible. Being that the car is in a different location than where I live, I don't get over there often enough. My 2yr old also takes up a lot of my time as well. Hopefully I can get some things done over Christmas. It has been a dream of mine to get this car going and I am stoked to finally be getting things done.
It looks in remarkable shape for having sat for so long. I think that is going to be a great wagon. I like your ideas.
Most of us are not as dumb as we appear! It's always 5 o'clock somewhere!Have fun playin with your Studie!
