Seems like it was just last year when you posted this show. I remember commenting on going back when we existed in Illinois. Bought lots of Model T and 1933 Chevy parts there. Ancient 1 can walk there !
WOW! You are right, Cat....doesn't seem like a whole year went by! I can't believe you have been here that long. Seems like you just joined up here a few months ago. And we were trying to maintain a low profile! Hey Ancient...that will make at least TWO cool wagons there!
Just noticed it shows I joined in May 2011. But I do remember this show being posted last year. It really does seem like I just joined. I'm still learning and keeping a low profile.
Yup....I remember you posting about it (who could forget???). Might have been after the show, though. I may have posted something about it after the event and you responded. Anyway....I really didn't think you had been here a year already! I have to figure a way to slow time down!!
Retired 18 years this June 1st. Scary how time flies when you're not even havin fun! I'll swear it took 50 years to get 18 years in working for a living and another 50 to get my 30 years in. Not counting other jobs before Cat.
OK, guys! Glad to see others going to Jefferson! My car (seen below) will LIKELY be in the For Sale section. Not to worry....it won't sell.
CASH?!? WOW.....tempting! But...I will wait and see if I get a better offer on the 28th. If not, I will consider your gracious offer with great contemplation.
I have no idea what your wagon is worth but I love it. Sorry about the low offer. I might go to $1000.00 ! Don't sell it!!!!!!!!!!!
I may very well change my mind about going to Jeffereson....again. The weather for Saturday is going to be a high of 44 (low of 33) and rain and wind! I don't mind roughing it at Jefferson...it's a tradition, it seems. But wind, rain and cold is getting to be too much for these old bones. Especially when all the car guys are hunkered down in their cars to stay dry and warm so you can't visit or see the cars anyway. Last time I went to Jefferson I still had mud on my boots a year later! I love going there but, for some reason, it is always a hit or miss on the weather. Always.
So true so true, It is going to be a mess and cold but whats a spring car show at Jefferson with out cold and rain? Just another car show. Tell you what buddy, if you come, lunch is on me or if you decide to come on Sunday i will treat you to breakfast at my fire dept for our fundraiser. and i will have a cooler packed with stuff....
Thanks for the offer, boog. Looks like Sunday will be a reasonably nice day. Trouble is, every time I have gone on a Sunday, half the guys have left on Sunday morning and the other half are breaking down to leave. Can't see many cars that way and most of the vendors are leaving or have left.
