I'm the new guy to this site.

With it being the eve of auction month here in Phoenix / Scottsdale, is there usually a thread for spotting long roofs at the auctions?
I usually make it to Barrett-Jackson but I may add Russo & Steele this year.

I know on some other car forums there are the auction haters. My deal is I look past the hype, drama and high rollers and go to enjoy the cars. :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

Alot of people do blame the Barrett Jackson mentality for all that is wrong with the hobby. It did bring more money into the market which isn't all good but I go to it every year. It's one of the best car shows there is and if you're into people watching it can't be beat.

I personaly would love to attend a Bury it Jackstone action....ahhh the eye candy with all the cars:dance:. How ever watching it on TV is crap IMO these days. It was on TV early AM yesterday, don't know if it was new or a re-run but in the 10 minutes watching I maybe saw 30 seconds worth of the 2 cars that were on. The other 9 minutes were showing shots of the croud, the bidders, the bar with a fancy fire pit in the middle of the table......BORING, next channel.

I live in AZ, and we are getting ready to go to the auctions. If you ever get the chance it is allot of fun, my wife loves to go also. We usually walk around and look at some cars, watch the auction, look at more cars, watch the auction, eat, and the movie plays on and on until we need to leave. This year we will get a hotel and see 2 days worth ( more time to drool) As for the original question the cars are all over the place and nothing is broken out by brand, They auction them off cheapest on Monday to most expensive on Sunday.

The same time the Russo and Steel show is going on, not very far away.

I enjoyed watching these auctions in 2001-2002ish before things really got stupid. The auctions I watch nowadays are live and I go in-person, impound/estate/abandoned/tow yard things and I LOVE 'em!
