Thursday night I cut off the Country Squire and it wouldn't start back up. I'm hoping it's something simple. Please pray for me that it's something simple.:162:

You guys are funny. Turns out it was the starter. Almost $300 in the hole and all is well again.

    starter woes

I know from where you are coming....my starter is in the 'rrr-rrr-rrr-catch' stages. It has always started for me so far but my neighbors sure think it's funny that I start my car with my head bowed over the steering wheel in silent prayer.

Still, it has taught my 16 yo daughter how to baby a starter. Even she can start it now.

Hopefully my husband will have time soon to scrounge one up and put it on for me. Now he's busy building a deck around our little pool from scrounged lumber.

We like to make do with whatever we can find laying around.

I know you can save a lot doing automotive work yourself, but I didn't even know what was wrong with it. The auto shop figured it out and fixed it. I'm just happy to be rolling again.

Ian, you can so... Maine, parts of northern Vermont are bilingual - One other state too, up there. Louisiana used to be too. We're all over the place. :biglaugh:
