It's been a long and hard road, (four years uphill both ways) lots of blood, sweat and tears but here she is.

The paint is Spies Hecker to match code 24 1971 Oldsmobile Nordic Blue Poly, has a slight metallic, basecoat/clearcoat, original color. After going round and round I ended up with Sharpline Converting Cherry Oak woodgrain vinyl. I had it installed by a pro, cost too much too play with. Her name was Pam and she's been doing it for 33 years, never did a Vista though, told me she crashed and totalled a '66 in high school.:slap:

Now I'm skeerd to drive it.:( I just had it pro appraised and she (females are taking over) put it at $17,500 and wished she could of gone higher but no comparables. Insurance is in the works now that I have a number, then the beast is hitting the road big time.:D

    Looks fantastic, BV.
There are still quite a few of these around, but for the most part, they're all showing some age. NOT YOURS, THOUGH!!!!
By far, the finest I've seen.

You certainly did a nice job of making it look better than new.

It takes a ton of perseverance to go as far as you did and now it is time to enjoy it.
