How many people actually haul stuff with their wagons?

I know a lot of people here have their wagons as collector cars, but how many people actually use them for what they were designed for - hauling things? My wagon is a beater, a nice looking one, but a beater none the less, and I'm not afraid to use it as it was intended.

Here's an old refrigerator going to the dump.

I've also carried a jukebox from Ohio to Maryland, put several large pieces of furniture in it, a full-size 1960's Coke machine, an organ and bench, and about 5,000 books.

When I had the Torino wagon I hauled a complete Model T engine/ tranny, metal top bows, a fender, and other parts.
The 55 Chevy wagon was bought as a swap meet parts hauler. It's done it's job for that. Biggest item was a 2004R tranny. It's still in the wagon but under it now.
Also it's been loaded almost as full as yours, minus the roof, when camping all over the midwest and Florida.
Hauled lots of groceries and kids.

I've always hauled stuff with my wagons, although they are/were everyday drivers. The best deals I've gotten at yard sales are for larger items that fit easily into the wagon, but not so easily into Hondas.

I use mine. Haul my mom with her wheelchair and walker, moved bookcases and books, emptied her storage units when I had room for the stuff. I just haven't had the occasion to haul any hay like we did in mom's 68 Polara wagon!

I can't say I have done that yet, but I may give it a try. So far it has just been hauling people and groceries, and it did have some luggage on the roof-rack for an adoption event.

I do. SHoved a mattress in it a while back, couldn't get the box spring though, just a bit too wide and not flexible enough. Had to use the pickup to get the rest.

About a year ago, the Way Back Machine was basically being used as a work truck while my cousin and I rehabbed a rental house we co-owned, prior to its sale. Hauled all my tools (including my table saw), 4x8 sheets of plywood, 2x4's, you name it. Got that all done and the WBM is none the worse for wear.

All my builds are for use. I sometimes get criticized but what good is it if you won't use it.
Offered to help a friend and left a local car show early one year with my 56 Chevy Wagon to ElCamino conversion. On the way to the friends house I was waiting at a light and several people leaving the car show spotted me. For the next few weeks I got a rash of "your crazy" and "why would you use your car like that"?

No tow package on the Country Squire, so it's never had a trailer hooked to it. But, I've hauled lumber, shelving, a bassinet, five Hummer wheels and tires (four inside and one on the roof!), car parts, kids, seven adults, two dogs, twin bed mattresses, and all my fast food wrappers...not all at once, of course.
