34 degrees C (93 degrees F) in the shade in my garage. Weather Network says "feels like 40 with the humidity". That would be 104 F. This is hot. :whew:

    Hot !

The temps during daytime here have been in the mid 90's with heat indexes between 102 and 112. Add to that very noisy thunder and hard rains most everyday.
We've had way more rain than we can remember in the 21 years living here in NW Florida. Even the gators are getting waterlogged!

Come to Louisiana and Mississippi, you have to chew the air before you can breathe it! Mid 90's for last 2 months and with the 80% humidity we have feels like 110 degrees on a cool day...I'm just thankful to not work outside anymore!

Mid to upper 70's in the high country where I work. Low 50's at night

Just took a trip to North Carolina to see my daughter compete in the junior olympics in Syncro swimming. Than we headed west to Georgia.
The temps were in the eighties with about 100 % humidity.

You were lucky that it cooled down in NC and Georgia.

Good luck to your daughter. (y)

If anyone knows of a place where the temperature never gets cooler than 40 F during the day or hotter than 75 F, let me know. I'll move there.

Oh yeah ... and no hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, mud slides, forest fires, floods, excessive humidity, tsunamis or plagues of flying insects. And gators. No gators. :D

jim if you ever travel to fla let me know . we can go to the everglades and walk right next to the gators and they dont bug you if you dont bug them. people are bicycling and hiking right next to them. I think it is an 11 mile tram ride thru shark river national park and last time we saw 54 gators just lounging on the side of the road.

Although I do remember fog so thick, I couldn't see the supply warehouse pierside at NAS North Island, from the bow missile launcher sponson on USS Constellation. I also remember a sudden windstorm so furious, it caused a noticeable list to Constellation at pierside.

It's been between 80 and 87 F in my bedroom at night lately. (About 60 some miles from WagonKiller, to the East of him) I didn't have the window open and much sweating was had.
