New to this site retired two years ago from a sheriff office as a det sgt. My son had got a S/W 1968 ford. I liked it so well I went out and bought one also. I also own a 1964 chevy and a 1996 vet. but u know what I like the S/W because I get more people asking Questions about the S/W that the rest. This is a great place glad my son found it.

Welcome aboard! I sold my '64 Impala SS convertible, paid for a year of kids college and used the rest of the proceeds to buy my wagon. I've also had a '94, '98 and '03 Vette, but same as you - my old Ford wagon gets as many or more compliments than any of those cars. Congrats on your wagon and post some pics when you can.

Wagons do get all kinds of crazy attention. A couple of months ago I was driving my Squire and heard this woman screaming. I looked around but didn't see anything. Then I drove past the same spot a little while later on the return home and heard more screaming again.

I figured out there was a nearby bar with an outdoor patio, and one of the patrons was expressing her delight at seeing my wagon. No doubt beverage consumption amped up the enthusiasm level, but still, it freaked me out until I figured out what was going on.
