so I made my annual trek down to Monroe ,Washington for the fall swap meet usually i hit the car corral 1st..but this year i figured i'd leave it till the end..... walked around for 5 hours....NUTTIN I really needed !! so I headed for the cars...quite a few wagons!!...but a few left in the time it took me to get there....(thanx gawd)..there was a beautiful 67 Ford wagon...that i'm glad was gone...too tempting so otherwise...heres what was still there...the 1st one is a really nice Dodge that was in the spectator lot...the rest speak for themselves couldnt find a price on this one this guy wanted 3500 for the 2 deliverys and 2500 for the Poncho this guy wanted to trade for 56 Chev car...real nice shape!! seems to me this one was at the 'spring swap' too...no wonder!..6900 and its rusty...rare but rotten this was actually a good deal..he only wanted 2900...but it needed lot of work still..otherwise..turnkey probably the rarest car there...a Corvair Lakewood...alil rusty but only 2800 bux without a doubt...theee cleanest fairlane wagon i've ever seen!!all original !!AC,p/s,p/b...he wanted 5600 for it...and wouldnt budge...and its against my religion to spend that much...but i'm still pondering it then this one...I caught him as he was pulling away!!..we came to a happy on the price !...guess i'm going back to Washington next week! its from Cali originally..factory AC..but someone put a newer SBF in it! and lastly..Sunday i went to the last Big indoor show of the year...only a couple of wagons..and this is the only one i havent already shown you guys....FUNNY story...the came over and gave me hell for taking pictures of his car!!...I said.."dude!..its a car show!!what ya expect?"...and he gets all pissy with me!!..what a weenie!! dats all folks..i'll have better pics of the Gal when she gets home!
The Squareback and Corvair have some resemblance... I wonder why? hehehe. How is your new Falcon optioned?
Falcon??? yano SS...i'm one of those dorks that seems to have the money to buy...but never the money to finish!! so theres just a revolving door of cars in my yard sell 1...buy 2...LMAO
Rev,We might have to all get together and come up there and do a intervention to relieve you of your problem.
wow! corvair wagon. I'd like to get my hands on a 61-63 Tempest Wagon... passed on one a few years ago wagon's are rare already, it be nice to be even more rare.
I like the Corvair and the T4 wagon -- super practical -- double trunks one in the front and one in the back, the T3 is the same too -- just love it.. Cheers Dyna
GREAT PICS and LOTS Of TEMPTATIONS there as you say! (And "A Fender Skirt Chaser" I've GOT to remember that one!! ) I resemble that remark! Well, as always - "KEEP them Wagons Rollin'!!"
