    hello Im building a 1971 chevelle greenbrier wagon bought this car because I could not let it go to a drag car Im saving it its a hard but great project looking for a gas tank or some insight to how I can modify the fuel tank and move it to the inside of the frame can anyone help? would like some suggest.

    Explain the fuel tank situation.........was this a drag car with fuel cell inside the car or ????

    Shouldn't be hard to find a tank, not sure how pricey though.

    :Welcome:peytons. Have a good time looking around here and finding the information you need. I'd be checking recycling yards for a guel tank. I guess we could call this peytons place.

    the tank is a fuel cell but not put in right looking for an original tank

    Working with your kids on a vehicle is the greatest reward ever. My first kids were never interested in cars. The last has been working with me since he could walk. He's 24 now and does most of the work on my cars and truck.
    We have some great memories together.
    From your pictures your wagon is looking nice.

    That is a heck of a good buy on that stainless fuel tank. Most sending units are over $25 and up. And stainless straps might go over $50 if even available.
