Hi my name is Mark and we live in Bentonville Ar. My wife's name is Edith and we have 5 boys, Nick,Joe,Chris,Stuart and Josh. They are 29,27,20,18,15. We have been married 20 yrs. so as you can tell the 2 oldest are my stepsons but still my boys.

We moved here about 3yrs ago when the aircraft industry went to heck. Since then I decided to go to college since I have never been and the boys are older now. I'm taking Web Design and Interactive Media.

We do not have a wagon at this time but I am searching for another 1955 Studebaker Conestoga which is how I ran across this site. Mine was stolen about 30 yrs ago never to be seen again, well at least by me. Right now we own a 03 Dodge Neon SXT, 88 Chevy S-10 and a 1960 Corvair 2dr. I know that is strange for a Ford fan but just the way things happened.

We have also owned a 72 Ranch Wagon, 73 Country Squire, 85 LTD wagon, and a 93 Taurus wagon all of which we loved. My wife was really fond of the last 2.

Well this is getting a little long, hope that is enough info. lol

    Nice to be a member!

    Hi Stormin

Not sure what it would cost but a heck of an idea! Your Fairmont looks alot like my wifes old LTD but ours had what I call the shovel nose on it. It was a V-6 auto. I put it as an 85 but don't really remember for sure. lol It was a great car. We traded it in with 185,000 on it and wished we would have kept it later. It still ran like a top. Just had a rear end going out. I had a parts car at the time but was being lazy. Nice to meet you.

Mark, with a family name like Berube, you've got some French history goin' on. Ex-Pat Canadian grandparents or an old Cajun family? Migrants from Europe? Always curious. My family tree comes from Normandy, almost near the famous Vimy Ridge battles. Seems one of the Napoleons liked my ancestor's beachfront dukedom, so he shipped the whole famdamily to Acadia (New France, original Acadians (cajuns), shipped to Louisiana (named after French King Louis.) Then the rotter expropriated the land as abandoned, and put his family in it for summer visits.:taz:

    RE:

Quite a history you have there! lol I've been told my great grandparents were French Canadian but I've never researched it. Maybe someday.
There was something in there about Indian decent from Maine too. So they probably snuck across the border. lol

Makes sense. Lots of Berube families on the South Shore of Quebec and in New Brunswick.

There's a town on the Quebec/Vermont border, where some homes have the diningroom on the US side and the kitchen on the Canadian side, with a Border marker inside the house!

By the way, the Ferry from Bangor, ME runs twice daily to Nova Scotia, through some of the prettiest farm patchwork you've ever seen. Quiet 2 lane highway. Nice drive with a big Ford wagon.:rofl2::tiphat: Catch you later.

Here's a little-known but searchable and huge, Maine classifieds that might have some wagons of interest.

Welcome to the forum, Mark (and family...)

Just a thought on your possible wagon purchase, since you mentioned owning an older Corvair.....(former Corvair owner myself)....

Since you're in the wagon market, you may want to check out this site...
It keeps track of a lot of E-bay station wagon posts....

You can also look for wagons on Craig's List - pick a city, select "cars & trucks", then search for 'wagon'.....

:Welcome: Mark. Hope you find what you're looking for.

One of these days, I hope to be passing by your neck of the woods. My Dad and his family came from Mountain Home way back when and our family has a cemetery somewhere near there. I want to go there and check it out one day. If all goes well, we're taking a road trip from Oregon to Rhode Island next year, but I have a feeling that we'll only be traveling the Northern tier and won't make it down South. But who knows?

Sit back, relax and stay a while. I think you'll like it here.

:Welcome:. I lived in Springdale a bunch of years ago before I joined the Navy. Still have a couple of ex-sisters-in-law there along with a gaggle of nieces and nephews.
