Just joined here because of a great passion for 2 door station wagons...I am currently working on a 1965 Ford Falcon 2 door wagon - working through to a final decision on whether to replace the stock 200 6 cyl with a nicely built 289...want to make sure I understand all that is involved....example: if I changed the 4 lug stock rear to an 8.8 mustang, do I really need to use a front disc set-up, or would the stock drum 5 lug arrangement from a Mustang be adequate?...what is involved in a power steering changeover? those kinds of considerations....looking forward to your thoughts Bob
Bob theres a few of us with Falocn wagons...so but as opposed to piling up your 'intro' with answers...lets do it over in the 'resto' area.. theres a few things you'll need to go V8...not a ton...but a few
If you decide to keep the six there's a good site here: http://fordsix.com/forum/ and performance parts here http://www.classicinlines.com/Home.asp I think there is a Granada disc brake swap you could look into.
Welcome to the group...I think you'll like it here So many questions:confused:...so many answers...enjoy
