I currently don't have a ride right now as health reasons and money matters are of issue. My last ride a 04 GMC Canyon was my latest project I just sold last month. Since growing up in the 60's I've had a passion for wagons and Panels since then. My latest craze Is collecting and customizing Diecast Hot Wheels and Matchbox, Since the Olds Vista came out I've been busy working on a Pro stock version along with a few other wagons and or Panels. I'll be sure and keep you posted as they come along.
, Hotwheels/Matchbox you say....cool My wife and I still can't resist the walk down the toy isle at Wall Mart and always seem to come home with a stash, been doing that since apx 1999. Heres a pic of my favorite stuff... I used to mild custom some Hotwheels, nothing fancy I'd just change wheels and remove some of the ugly tampoos that were put on cars. Some of them (metalic colours) I would even dye useing RIT fabric dye witch you can but at Wall Mart. You do it just the same as dyeing an easter egg, drop it in and keep it in as lon as you like. It does'nt dye the chrome, just the paint. Lets see some pics of the Pro Stock Vista
Thanks for the welcome, Yeah they all fit and all over the house. Last count a few years ago there was around 3000. With boxes coming from all over the world the last few years I have to be pushing 4 or 5000 now. Anybody want to help count them all??
Chipster. We love pictures, so feel free to show off. I have just resumed collecting Hot Wheels again. Only a few choice selections so far, and I grabbed up some of the Sizzlers when they resurfaced a couple years ago. I still have a number of 1969 survivors.
I moved across country when I was 15, I left all my origonal 69 Hotwheels with my cousins little daugter:banghead3:
Welcome Chipsters! I was checking out our local KIJIJI site the other day, and couldn't believe how many people were giving their wagons away, working wagons, too. I'm up in central Canada, but I'll bet your local version has folks doing the same. They don't want to see their old family friend end up dead in Asia. Good to have you aboard.
