I have a 1965 Ford Country Squire. Working on getting it up and running and removed the fuel tank to get it cleaned and ready for fuel again. In the process I thought I had to remove the rubber around the filler neck. Come to find out I did not and now the rubber is ruined. i was dry rotted and fell apart. Does anyone know if that is available anywhere? I have called multiple places and looked online with no luck.
Like this? http://www.stationwagonforums.com/f...iller-seal-for-1965-ford-country-sedan.53671/ Might be some ideas you can use. You probably aren't going to find a new replacement part anywhere.
Thanks for the info. I actually found one on ebay today and had to grab it up. It was old new stock. Couldn't believe I found one.
Yea so far this is the only luck I have had with this car. Fingers crossed I won't need much more luck and things will start coming together instead of coming apart!
I searched for the completed listing and couldn't find it. Is there at least a part number so I can do a Google search and see if one pops up? Green Sales says they don't even know what the part number would be.
