Having an issue finding the lid gasket for a 352 that fits. Called Dennis Carpenter after reciving a gasket for a Ford 352/390 1964-1967 part and it was 4 inches to short. Was told they do not have one in the 53 inch length that is needed to go all the way around the lid. Anyone have any issues with this? Or what did you use to replace the gasket? Thanks!

I've never done one, but I've replaced door seals that ended up too short, so I've cut a piece from the old one and glued it into the gap to close it up. Perhaps buying the biggest and smallest seals will give you enough material to make up the shortfall.
