    Sorry if this question has been answered a hundred times already ( I can’t figure out to search a key word in the forums)
    Does anyone know the firing order of the 1972 country squire with a 6.6l 400 ?

    You're quite welcome. If your engine's ignition still is point-condenser, I have pages saved that instruct you on installing them and setting dwell before you set timing.

    You assume he has a dwell meter. Fords really only need a feeler gauge to set the gap and be within specs. In an emergency a matchbook cover will get the car running. It's them damn GMs with their window in the cap that really require one.

    In learning the methods to set points, my boss told me to always use a dwell meter, as it is useful for testing/showing problems. A feeler gauge can't do that.
