Anyone here on Facebook? I'm still pretty new to Facebook but decided to start a Facebook page where I could post photos from car shows. So if anyone is interested in trading links, heres mine. http://www.facebook.com/people/Jim-Colville/100001111775214?ref=search Send a friend request referencing the Station Wagon Forum so I know who you are. If anyone missed the Chrysler show at Carlisle, I've recently added several photo albums to my Facebook page with several hundred photos from This month's Mopar show at Carlisle. There were several wagons there but you'll need to look for them in all the various Carlisle albums. I also have albums of photos from local car shows and cruise ins. I'm still adding to a final Carlisle album of C bodies and trucks. If you send a friend request be sure to reference the Station Wagon Forum so I know who you are. I realized after I posted this that I probably should have started this thread in the lounge, so if this is in the wrong place, I apologize.
i have facebook, it called ex- wife. her face change's just like a page in a book. . . . I have and used face book but I don't need all the unwanted friends of someone looking too. so I don't give it out.
Done. Here's my page..... (Ditto to Jim's instructions. But like I told him, I actually spend more time here.) http://www.facebook.com/people/Marshall-Loveday#!/?ref=home
OK...call me paranoid....I think Facebook is, or has become, big brother's best tool. I will never join. Ever.
Wow, theres some strong feelings about Facebook here. I guess I touched on a nerve. I just started on Facebook in May and mostly just use it to post car show pics. I have about 800 pictures on there that I took at the Chrysler show at Carlisle and about 300 pictures from other car shows and local cruise ins. Most of the pictures are of Mopars but theres some other interesting classics as well.
My wife and I are both on Facebook and love it. We've been able to reconnect with a lot of family and old classmates with it. We both have all our privacy settings set to "Friends only" and don't do any of the online games or group links and it's worked fine.
I was a Microsoft software developer and I won't even use MSN! Too many cons that outweigh the pros. I'd rather be old and crochety than roadkill on the I-highway.
Jim, I'm on Facebook. Just checking out your page now. Sent you a "friend request". Cool that you did this.
