    When I lived down there (in Orange), it was a regular event for me. Last went in 2008.

    For those that haven't been, try to make the show if you can.....we're talking about 1,000 cars, folks - all FoMoCo.

    Grant's Pass isn't that bad.I got through it in a driving rain coming back from a little vacation in January...

    true...if i get the motor swapped by then...then maybe...just for the testdrive:D....think theyd let a rusty Falcon woody from Canada in?:evilsmile:

    Actually there's another class of cars there. Ford powered, so they get the Sunbeam Tigers and other cars that used Ford engines.(y) One guy had a Pinto there with a 460! Truth be told there was no inner fenders.

    Actually in my estimation at least half the cars are unrestored and yes I've seen plenty of rust there. To me it's the major attraction to see the unrestored cars, the survivors and Fords that nobody would have expected that someone would preserve or restore.

    I have many favorites but one sticks in my memory. A 72 Maverick, copper in color, lowered, wide wheels. I don't remember the engine but it had a six speed manual and a Jag rear suspension. Gorgeous!

    I just registered the 62 Country Squire for the event so im about 70% sure i will be there!
