Went shopping in town today and realized that this weekend at the county fair grounds is the annual swap meet in Woodstock IL. Saw some nice wagons in town already so will try and get back there tomorrow for some photos and to see what's for sale. Speaking of wagons for sale I found right here in town at Rons Auto body a 57 panel wagon he has sitting there and he said that it and every other car there was for sale. The car is in rough shape and seeing as I don't have the money for another car (according to my wife that is) so that's all from here today and will let you know if any other wagons for sale there if anyone is interested that is.:camera:

Take pictures. Remember that money you put in a sock? Go get that 57 panel truck, whatever it is. They are all rare. Everyone in northern Illinois is wealthy. :camera:

lol wish I still had that sock. and its a 57 Chevy station wagon a panel wagon with no side windows. I got to get me a digital camera one of these days as I am still using film. Do have money put away for one of those. And remember if the women don't find you handsome, They should at least find you useful.
. so keep your stick on the ice

I almost wrote CHEVY in my post. I was just thinking Chevy. Really, if it is reasonably priced and decent it could be worth it.
Is it a real panel wagon with the one piece lift gate or split like a station wagon? The one piece lift gate is very rare and was used by the government and forestry service.
Or an actual panel truck like my 48.
A sedan delivery is a wagon with the sides closed.
A panel truck is a truck with the bed made into a box.

As for the digital cameras. We saw our first right after our second Bike Week in Daytona maybe 1996. They have come way down in price and are even better. I'd suggest one with replaceable batteries even though they are slightly thicker.

Hey Busterville, where you in town when they filmed the movie "Ground Hogs Day"? Ohhh and by the way you guys have some really nice rides there and yes I once had the money too up here but fate intervened and I have to start a new collection of cars again. I do have or I should say I bought the wife a new 2013 Kia Sportage this year as she drives 90 miles per day going to and from work and I have my wagon. Which is my daily driver in the summer. seeing as I can't work anymore I only log on about 1500 miles per year and in the winter I have my 1999 Dodge Dakota sport with the 318 V8 and rwd as I don't need to leave he house when it snows. Pheww sorry if I rambled o n there I blame my meds :yup:

Nah........I lived in McHenry (on the east side of the Fox River). I worked in Wauconda, but didn't get there until after they filmed the Blues Brothers. Heard all about that one, though. Have a nephew who's a county sheriff there and his wife, and another one who lives with his wife and 3 daughters still there.

I recently bought a slightly used NIKON Coolpix at a pawn shop for $25.
Its slim and easily fits in a pocket.
Pull the sim card out, plug it into your computer, and post away!
It has a rechargeable battery which saves many dollars over time.
    Highly recommended.
