Saw this at the Turkey Rod Run in Daytona over the weekend. Now I have seen plenty of Caprice(and Roadmaster) wagons turned into Impala SS wagons but this is this first Cadillac conversion I've seen. It is a '92 and it seemed like they did a good job of mating the Caddy front end, didn't appear to be a hack job but I didn't do a lot of inspecting. Nothing else on the car had been Cadified. It was of course for sale, I didn't see too much there that didn't have a for sale sign on it. They were asking $2500. The car needed work but I would guess that it would cost more than $2500 in parts, time and aggravation to put a Capricillac (Cadiprice?) together.
I have other pix from the show - which was awesome- that I'll put in another post in the next day or so

From the pic, it looks like they did a nice job. I like the way it looks, needs paint a wood, though.

So when is someone going to put a Custom Cruiser nose on a Caprice sedan and make a Delta 88?

Interesting idea. I've never seen one before. I like it but agree with Caprice; paint it and put some dinoc on it.

It won't make you scratch your head with out a caddy interior.

Someone really needs to go ALL THE WAY with this idea, instead of just playing around with it, as I've seen done quite a few times. Get yourself a '95 - '96 RMW, a engine-deficient Fleetwood, and go to town.....Front clip, instrument panel, door panels - the works. You'll also have to adapt the Di-noc and surround trim for the different fenders as well. Also note, to do it right, you'll have to section the front part of the Fleetwood frame onto the RMW.

I think Crovo over on the Longroof forum (toomanytoyz) would be a good candidate.......or maybe Ian!

if i had the money and was good at body work. i would do it.
graft the caddy fins and taillights in. put in the caddy interior...dash and all!

remember...the caddy is 6in longer...and some of that is in the front end.

caddy wagon....no wood. maybe 2 tone at the beltline but not wood.

That's why I included that part above......

Wood's good, but so is the bottom third stainless moldings on the Fleetwood. that would look good, too.....

I'm really surprised no one has done this yet. It hasn't been that long since custom Cadillac wagons were being built. My idea is to take a mid-'90s Caddy stretch limo, cut it at the back doors and replace it with a Roadmaster wagon rear end. I have no idea if that would actually work and unless I win the lottery, I'm not going to get to find out.
