Hello everyone I am looking for rear bumper guards for a 70-78 LTD wagon or country Squire. I had to replace the bumper due to rust. the only one I could fin was from a sedan and the guards a to tall I can not open the tail gate. Thanks

Did you ever find your parts? I think there are a couple of possibilities on Ebay right now. Do you have some pictures of the sedan bumper on the wagon? I have a 77 Marquis myself with a bad bumper and I thought about if it was possible to make a nice fit with another type of bumper. What did you do to the reinforcement bar and isolators? Was it necessary to change them or was it a direct bolt on? Pictures would be great... Good luck with your '78 wagon
