I bought another Malibu wagon today. I got on craigslist first thing this morning and there she was. It's kind of funny, I know the guy and he never said any thing about it. I went over and looked at it, handed him $300 and drove it home! :rofl2: It's an 81, and only has the 289 V8, but she looks great! The body is in good shape with only minor rust, and the frame is perfect. Not to mention 26,900 actual miles! I would post some more pix, but it's to dark to get some. Maybe tomorrow I'll get some and post them. It started out an odd green, but has faded out and is now more of a cream color. This one will only be getting a healthy small block and a 6 speed, I would do another big block but I need one to drive.

I like, ":evilsmile:No one suspects the wagon:evilsmile:". It's great to drive a sleeper. My wife's turbo WRX Subaru Forester is our family's true sleeper:evilsmile:, but all three other vehicles definetely are underestimated constantly:chirp:
Congrat's on your purchase. I'm curious about your big block wagons. Post some pics holmes!

Yea, I got my numbers mixed up. It's the 4.4L or 267. Don't know what I was thinking.

Couple more pix for you. I got some new plugs in it today, but didn't get to the cap rotor and wires. It still has a bit of a miss, hope the rest of that clears it up. Anybody have a 383 and a Richmond 6 laying around? Maybe an LS7? hahahaha

I love the Malibu wagons. When I was in college my boss had one with a 229v6 & 3 speed manual

All you need now is a stoker 383 SBC and have some fun! Leave it as-is outside. Too cool!

Saw this one on another thread.
    They are understated, yet classy.
