He deleted the thread and left "Sold the car" as comment!

Uh oh! That doesn't sound good.

It looked like he was really coming along with it.

He was one of the first to come on the site and show his good work to build a Lampoon Family Truckster. We have no idea why he left. RK and I never really OT'd his threads (Off-Topic sidebars, etc.) I was really hoping to see the next steps.

Sorry, I did not know that. I have read some his writings. Really abrupt end, isn't it?

Well if he sold it then I doubt there will be much to show and tell about.

I too was enjoying seeing the project progress pictures. I recall that he was at the point where it was ready for paint.

Why he deleted the thread and pics is a mystery.

Maybe his wife threatened divorce if he spent another minute in the garage? Maybe he lost his job and needed to sell the wagon? Who knows. Perhaps whoever bought it will show up and post finished pics of it.

I would think the next step of making all those trim moldings and puting on the fake wood is a major project.

Even the stock moldings and Wood grain are a pain, but he sure knew his metal working skills. Impressive.

His wife looked like she was into it too, in some of those shots. Who knows...
