What do you guys do for your crimping needs for AC line fittings? I have been using our hydraulic shop but he is often slammed and can't put a coouple of lines for me ahead of his bigger jobs. I heard that some of the NAPA stores do them but I have not tried that. I was thinking of ordering this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mastercool-...ultDomain_0&hash=item19ecd12624#ht_1297wt_848 Your thoughts?
martyo . i just made new lines for my wagon with the beadlock style fittings . this are the older round barrels that go over the hose and get crimped. i only used this style as my freind has the crimper. in order to get the fittings i need i bought a complete hose kit and drier from summit about $100. if i had to do it all over and didnt have the tool i would get the newer style ring clamp style. the tool is expensive but everyone seems to carry these fittings now and the tool is much smaller and convienent
If you are not going to do a lot of them your local NAPA would be a wise choice. We live near a tiny town and our NAPA does lots of hydralic and AC lines.
