I am using a newer 508 AC compressor on my small block in my custom 66 Chevelle Wagon. I am looking for suggestions on which mounting bracket I should consider. The car has a small block 350 with a short water pump and stock exhaust manifolds. The AC compressor will be mounted on the passenger side next to the valve cover. I did find one that mounted higher but the location of the bracket mount interferes with the valve cover and the fuel line. I have plenty of room to have the compressor off to the side next to the valve cover. Found some online that are designed to be used with headers. I am using the stock exhaust manifolds and a simple black metal bracket assembly is what I want to use.
Any information from those who are using this type of bracket and suggestions on vendors, brands or part numbers would be appreciated. Thanks

I installed the complete Vintage Air System. It uses that compressor. I'm not sure if they sell just the mounting bracket but if they do, it's custom made for the small block Chevy.
Give them a call. If you need it I image(1)_1590293006242.jpg can add a picture from the installation instructions tomorrow.
