429-460 grounding wiring...

    O.K silly question probably, but here I am hooking up everything in the barge, getting closer to being done, and I forget exactly where the battery negative cable goes on the engine, or where there's a ground to frame cable...
    Anyone have any pics of a 429 or 460 battery negative cable and grounding cable to frame? thanks!

    Did you find out where the ground cable goes lead? I can post a picture tomorrow if you haven't.

    You could connect the ground cable to anywhere on the block or head. If the cable's the original length, you could get a general idea, by extending the cable to the most sensible bolt accomodating the inner diameter of that cable end. You don't want to connect the cable directly onto the alternator, though.
