Are there any forum members going to Syracuse Nationals next weekend? I will be there and would love to meet any forum members that might go. It's a large show (7130 cars last year - the link is http://www.rightcoastcars.com/syracuse-nationals.php ) open to anything 1980 and older. I'll be camping on the grounds, and if a few other members are going, I'll plan a free hotdog and drink lunch one of the afternoons...

    Any takers???

Well, no takers for free hotdogs, but I did see some beautiful wagons. The show was insanely fun, and I still can't believe everything I saw...

This isn't even 1/4 of the wagons there, but it gives you an idea of the show. Be sure to look in the background of the pics also - lots to see!!!

These cars were at a local Cruise-in we went to on Thursday night...

I will work on a link to a guy doing crazy smoke shows with his Malibu wagon... He had fun, we had more fun watching, and it went home on a wrecker... Good times!!!:thumbs2:

Thanks for the great pics, 442. Hey, ya got any more?! It looks like it was an outrageous time with some excellent cars. I am definitely sorry I missed it. Oh, by the way, that '63 Ford Country Sedan was the exact same color and model of our family wagon back then.

I have tons more - I just posted the wagon pics. I'll try to post up some of the others for anyone interested later tonight... That '63 was cool - wish I'd gotten a better pic of it. I was surprised that I didn't see more Ford wagons... Most were GM for some reason.

Must have been a great show....
Interesting your comment on the lack of Fords there. I noticed the same thing at the show in Roseburg, Oregon last weekend. If not for a good showing of 40's Ford trucks, there wouldn't have been many Fords at all....

    442's rear windows

Hey 442, in that last photo, it looks like your right rear passenger window is down. Could it be? I had a '78 CC woody, and those body styles had fixed rear passenger windows. (Wagon's looking shiny too. (y))
