    ^^^ THAT upholstery! Basically that's what made me want to sell our '88 Taurus GL wagon, not long after we bought it. Lots of volts of static electricity.

    Geez Marshall. That's a core memory I had forgotten about from my youth. Getting zapped on cold days (and hot ones too!) getting in and out of the car with those seats!!!

    Thats funny, I don't remember ever having that experience. I guess everyone I knew at the time had vinyl upholstery.
