I feel certain this must have been posted here before somewhere but for the life of me, I can't find it. Maybe it actually is new info. Tedy, do you recall where this might have been posted? This was built by a company called Sbarro (not the taco guys) in 1978. Believe it or not 23 of the 25 that they intended to build were sold and may still be out there somewhere. One article I read mentioned that Sbarro had a history of building 6-wheeled off-road hunting vehicles and claimed that this beast was a 6x6. I find that hard to believe. The poorly translated article linked to below indicates that it was actually a 6x2 which makes more sense. http://www.carstyling.ru/en/car/1978_cadillac_tag_function_car/
Google is your friend. Sbarro is a Swiss custom car builder who has a long history of wild and unique vehicles. Here's a video of the Caddy.
I did watch that. I figured that since the video didn't contain any information and was just a collection of most of the same photos set to crappy music I'd let that stay buried . My primary interest was if the photos have already been posted on the forum somewhere.
Front section is a front-wheel drive Eldorado, so I'm pretty sure the back end just has tag axles on this.
