The 77 T&C is one of my favorite wagons. The seat has a tear and the top of the dash is fried, unfortunately, but...it's a Texas car, a one owner and low miles if they are actual. If it's a 440 and a good runner and looks as good as the pix up close and personal...the price isn't too bad either.
Yea there's a few conversions out there. I think I remember it being just bolting on the front clip.. never came across a T&C to do it to though.. It is on my wish list though.. of course i'd also put the NYker interior in it
There is a problem with the conversion if it's a wood-paneled version you're working with - the front 3 inches of the woodgrain is on the header panel that you need to switch....as well as the surround molding. Check the photo.
When it comes to the external trim, I would be tempted to go whole hog with one of these and remove the wood grain completely, and then install the external trim from the 74 Imperial, which used the same sheet metal fenders and doors, etc. On hat, the bright trim follows the lower body crease, and the stainless protects the rockers and lower doors from stone damage, as these cars are quite undercut.
I swear I posted this a couple weeks ago... http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18913
That is one big a$$ station wagon. Kinda like driving your living room around! It's a nice looking car in any case.
