No Reserve: 1977 Lincoln Continental Town Car for sale on BaT Auctions - ending November 8 (Lot #126,773) | Bring a Trailer
10-15 years ago it would have been about half to 1/3 that, so not too bad considering what every other car is going for.
That really isn't bad, and it's the colors I would want in a Lincoln: a 'midnite blue' metallic, with a medium or dark blue interior, but leather would be the choice I'd make.
1979 Lincoln Continental Town Car for sale on BaT Auctions - ending November 16 (Lot #127,813) | Bring a Trailer 1979 Town car to compare to the 77.
Interesting leather, power mini vents and no cruise. Beautiful car, unfortunately’79 for some reason is the least desirable. Probably the 400 doesn’t help. Will be curious to what it brings.
Yeah ‘77 was the trifecta for me. Rolls grill, skirts, and the ribbon speedometer. A hit in any man’s book!
Another 79 No Reserve: 1979 Lincoln Continental Town Car for sale on BaT Auctions - ending November 24 (Lot #128,601) | Bring a Trailer
Another 79. Black on black with 1800 miles. what a car! 1,800-Mile 1979 Lincoln Continental Town Car for sale on BaT Auctions - ending December 1 (Lot #129,392) | Bring a Trailer
Well I never thought I would see a ‘79 Town Car sitting north of $40,000. But it is money maker black, and 1,800 miles. There is definitely not a nicer Town Car (‘79) in existence. But again it begs the question. Do you drive it, or admire it as it’s backing out of the trailer. It is a beautiful car can it get to $50k? It is a strange world we live in.
