I believe this guy has sold a few clamshell wagons before. The last was a 71-2 custom cruiser, green I think. It was about 3-5 years ago?

Yes he did...he sold the green one because he had found this one... the car is spectacular but not sure it will bring that kind of money, time will tell...this one should set the bar.

Amazing. My dads 76 was dark green, with white vinyl/leather interior. Had the hub caps not those rims which the rims look much better. The car we used on vacation, the family was asleep my mom was driving on I 70 in Neb/Kan my grandma woke up and said to my mom, "aren't you going a little last?". My mom looked down and was going 105 mph . My dad woke up and told her to ease off a bit . I learned to parallel park in that car.

This has to be the same car. He mentioned in the thread you found car was going to Seattle. What are the chances of two of these stunning cars floating around up there. I’d be curious the back story on this car. Obviously it went from a GM exec right to a collector. This cars had a pampered life from the get go.

Smart move if the seller moved the car to Seattle with all its tech money. If Seattle passes maybe it winds up in a container going to Sweden.

Definitely the same. The same decal on the lower right windshield.

Looks like new tires though - now has a wider whitewall.

The price this seller wants is very ambitious. We'll see.

I would be scared to ship something that nice in a container.

I would also be scared to drive it on public roads. Too many distracted and just plain bad other drivers. :tsk:

I think it looked better with the thinner whitewalls. The wider whites take away the focus from how clean this wagon is. As far as the price, probably better to try that bring a trailer site where we saw that Pontiac go for more than 30K a few months ago. Then you can get two or three bidders going against each other trying to break the most expensive clam shell record.

eBay listing ended: "no longer available."

I'm betting it is headed out of the country. Would love to be shown wrong.
