This one pushes all the right buttons for a C.S. Not the most 'beautiful' year for big Fords, but it appears to be in good shape. Only one minor gripe about this ad. 'Response' text at the bottom indicates the front seat has a couple tears. Well then lets see them. Wagon seems in great shape otherwise, a couple of seat tears shouldn't scare anybody off......

Looks decent. I'm lovin' the drive train. In looking at it and it being a CA car...not sure about those miles. But, then, I never am.:D
And, yeah...I want to see the seats. And the dash top.

And adding the correct non wire spoke wheel covers from '73 and '74. The spokes became an option in '75. Looks like someone replaced the wood sides too. She sure is clean!

I think you are right, wagnut. I noticed something off when I first looked at the car and determined that the wood color was off. Grain looks different, too.

Looks like the seller lowered the buy it now from $7,500 to $6,500. I agree about wanting to get a better look at the seats and the dash. It's hard to tell what condition the interior is in based on the pictures the seller provided.

The color of that wood is bugging me. I don't know...not being a Ford guy...maybe they had that ugly color wood but I sure don't remember it. I think the price is still high from what is shown in the pix. For that money I want to see everything.:yup:

You and me both, Fox. The wood looks like cheap shelf paper someone bought at Wal-Mart. :D

Yeah, Tedy...that's one we can see. What about the seat backs that are covered? Might be fine and might be ripped up. Can't see the sides either. You want $6500 for a 73 car I want to see it all.

    dash,wood sides and.....rips

Hi all,to answer a few questions,as the owner of the 73 CS that was on ebay......................Yes, the previous owner had the car painted at one point, the contact paper was replaced.I was told this was in 1999 or so. It was always a southern ca car.The original owner would be in his 90's now an was in a retirement home as of 2005. I bought it from the 2nd owner who was friends with the original owners son. The story is true,I met the girl (valley girl type teeny bopper) Drives an element or something......Yes, dash has a crack, and yes, the seat is ripped. Would love to host more pics, and am just getting a picasa account up and running. The sides have not faded in the last several years I have had it. It usually is in a carport. happy to answer all questions,if someone is REALLY interested in it. Thanks,Scott 510-697-2515:taz:
