If it's always garaged, it's likely 116K. The engine and bay look a little too used/dirty to be unturned original mileage.

A new mystery episode. That there is still some chrome paint at the radio volume knob leads me to think this is a 16K mile car. That we have no photo of the drivers seat leads me to think that maybe we have a very well kept 116k mile car. Engine compartment looks good to me as 48 years is a long time for dirt to collect on anything, anywhere. No matter the actual mileage, a surviving Buick Skylark 4dr hardtop that looks this good is rare.

The first digit doesen't line up with the rest that follow. It would, if the odometer didn't yet turn over:

Run every Car Fax or other VIN identification report you can......

Instant memory recall seeing those clear plastic, waffle pattern Fingerhut seat covers. Dad had them on his '63 Nova. Left a great impression (literally) on a hot summer day.

What happened to the edit function? Here's the mat. I'd still love to have the wagon, despite possible fictitious milage claims:

Above photo reveals a crack in the windshield. Did not notice that before.

Well if it's 116K - hats off to him for taking the time to detail and clean up everything the way he did. That interior sure looks nice. I guess maybe I'm used to seeing interiors that are shot down here.

Marshall, My grandpa's Delta 88 (which was supposed to become mine when I turned 16, but got crunched in an accident), had those, and though the PNW never got as hot as SoCal on any regular basis, I remember sticking to the darned things, and leaving skin behind if you sat where the direct sunlight rays were shining, it burned so bad.

I recall now that our VW black seats didn't get anywhere near as hot as those blasted plastic covers. If I had ended up with the Delta, those would've been gone before I ever drove it.

This is my Electra I found sitting in a garage. Notice the condition of the engine compartment. The car has 13,494 original miles on it.

Damn. I can understand if the garage was open to the elements, but I'd also expect body rust and tire rot on it with the compartment that dirty. What I was trying to say about the Skylark was that the body looks great, little to no rust, but the engine compartment looked dirty enough that I suspected the odom had rolled.

Mine was still sitting on the original H/78/15 dual stripped bias ply tires. They were all flat and dry rotted but no rust.

Oops. The first picture doesn’t belong there. This is the car now after a lot of cleaning
