Same guy selling the barn find 1960 Country Sedan. No, it is not a great destruction derby car. :banghead3: 1972 Pontiac wagon chevy caprice derby - $998 (redding) Totally rust free. Great destruction derby car. is all there.dont know if it will run. was in a barn for over 20 yrs. 619 481 294o
Even filthy as that car is....it looks to have a lot of potential from just this one picture. Complete looking, shiny chrome, original hub caps in place.
Sometimes these are the cars we see a few months later on ebay, real low miles, "stored in doors for 20 years" as a big selling feature, that have been properly detailed and gone through the brakes and exhaust. A good polish job, some decent tires, and the seller flips a car for serious profit. It will be interesting to see where this one ends up. For that money if it were closer I'd be forced to bring it home, hide it from my bride for a few weeks while I soften her up with dinner out and maybe even some flowers and while she's drinking that nice bottle of wine I bought show her "what else I bought HER" I make sure I have my running shoes on and a key to the house in my pocket.
So it's been barned for 20 years, Nice to see a pic that kinda proves that. But really, along with the dirty pic, ya think the seller could at least take a garden hose to it.......
The seller may think that the dust is one of the visible proofs that the wagon did sit for 20 years in a barn. I wonder what 20 years of dust would sell for without the wagon. You could take the dust to a derby and use it to fill potholes on the track. The way the car looks he should be advertising 20 years of barn dust that comes with its own set of wheels.
