I find it's difficult to locate salvage yards with wagon parts. I'm still looking for a good tailgate release mechanism and interior dome light for my '57 Ford wagon. Does anyone know of a salvage yard that may have a few old Ford wagons? Thanks for any leads helping me find these two parts.

    Happy New Year!

    Thanks for the good wishes!

This guy might be helpful. He's got lots of chrome bits and hardware. You might also PM 'the Rev'. He's well connected with Ford folks and he's got a few of that era.

Salvage yards with old stuff are getting harder and harder to find. I'm friends with Rocky, the local salvage yard guy around here, and he just crushed all pre 1970s cars by him, I was gonna go out there and lay a rose where they once sat.
